EuroFM Stay Connected Session 4 – Connecting Research, Education and Business by Prof Mark Mobach

Overview

We are proud to present our next Stay Connected Session to our EuroFM community! We will share the latest FM knowledge, results and ideas with you, to learn and get inspired. This 4th Stay Connected Session will specifically focus on the powerful collaboration between research, business and education. One of the principles of EuroFM!

Date: 1 October 2020
Time: 10.00 – 12.15 hrs CEST
Where: Online
Costs: Free of charge for EuroFM Members. Not a member of EuroFM but you are interested in joining this online session? Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

The inspiration for the 4th Stay Connected Session was kicked off by the recognition of Prof Mark Mobach and his team when they were awarded in November 2019 the ‘Delta Prize’, a leading practice-orientated research prize handed by Ingrid van Engelshoven, Minister of Education, Culture and Science in the Dutch parliament. She honoured Prof Mark Mobach and his research team for the impact their research in Facility Management has had on the crossroads of practice and their passion towards the FM field.

During the Stay Connected Session sixteen researchers coming from two research groups at Hanze University of Applied Sciences and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, led by Prof Mark Mobach, present themselves and their results, knowledge and experiences in 5-minute pitches. The pitches are based on short papers, that will be published in the companion proceedings of EFMIC 2020. The variety of pitches will give our EuroFM community a broad insight in the latest FM developments.

Themes that will be discussed by the researchers are:
– Insight to Campus Design
– Healthcare Facilities – A Patient View
– Aspects on Healthy Working and Living
– Facility Design in the Context of Society

The 4th Stay Connected Session will be one of the previews to our 2021 European Facility Management International Conference. We hope to meet you there again!
