Samenvatting

Creating meaning through technology in use, that is what we do in the Human-Centered Technology research group. Because technology without meaning is a billionaire making more money somewhere. Technology with meaning, hopeful meaning, helpful meaning, that can move mountains.

In this research group, we study good design of technology, both as a verb, the design process, and as a noun, the resulting design. We do that with the business partners in the region, and in national and international research consortia; with lecturers, PhD-candidates, researchers and students, in dedicated projects, in graduation trajectories and in – what we at the Hanze call – Innovation Work Places (IWPs)
