The research aims to achieve two primary objectives:
- Enhance understanding of the dynamic behaviour exhibited by various types of timber flooring with distinct finishes
- Provide the market with an opportunity to experience and assess the vibrational characteristics of timber floors
- Proof test of timber facade elements and floors on the shake table with earthquake loads
