Description
The purpose of the dataset is to determine the reliability (through Intraclass Correlation Coefficient) of the SUMAC-NL, a Dutch-language measurement instrument that can evaluate walking ability with a walker in people with dementia. The SUMAC-NL consists of 9 everyday tasks that participants have to perform while walking with a walker. The SUMAC-NL can be used to evaluate the success of training to use a walker when the walker has been identified as an appropriate level of gait aid to compensate for deficits or evaluating people who have been using a walker already independently. The dataset captured the scores of 9 participants on the SUMAC-NL. These scores were administered at two time points (T0 and T1) by 5 different physiotherapists. The same videos were used to score the participants at T0 and T1. There was a one-week interval between T0 and T1. The SUMAC-NL consists of 9 tasks and each with its own score. In the dataset, all scores, from task 1 to task 9 were noted and a total score was recorded (the sum score of the 9 tasks). In addition, the dataset reflects the demographic data of the participants, as well as the scores on the FES-I and Katz ADL. The latter two give an indication of fall anxiety the functioning in ADL, respectively.
