Description
The way we present music to our audiences is regulated by an implicit code of behavior. Characteristics of that code are a strict difference between performer and listener (exclusive entrance for performers, framing and elevation of the stage, lighting, and dress code). The hall is a consecrated area, characterized by ritual and reverence for the music and an established repertoire performed in an authentic manner, in buildings whose architecture and ornaments are drawn from churches and temples.Periode | 14 mrt. 2017 |
