Description

Course Ready for Research Interreg A,B,C Grant Webinar

Some of the most important instruments for funding applied research in an international context are the Interreg grants offered by the European Commission. This webinar discusses the four Interreg grants that are available for the North of the Netherlands: (A) Eems Dollard Region, (B) North Sea Region, (B) North West Europe and (C) Europe. The main topics are: what the Interreg program is, what research themes are in the program, what the consortium and project requirements are and how to get started with writing your grant application. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions.

Writing a research grant proposal can be complicated. There are a lot of factors to take into account – is your research question relevant enough, will your research have real impact, do you have the right partners on board? Are you able to meet all the very specific evaluation criteria set by funding agencies? How can you make sure that your proposal is competitive? On top of that, there is the administrative procedure within the Hanze to navigate. Where to start, and to whom do you turn for help and advice in this whole process?

This webinar is part of a series offered by the Hanze grant advisors, aiming to bring some clarity into the complex field of grant writing. This specific webinar goes into the Interreg grants offered by the European Commission, some of the most important instruments for applied research in the EU.
