Description

The Deemed Export compliance workshop for SMEs is developed by the Erasmus COMMITTED project which aims to disseminate the term of deemed export among SMEs and support them in exporting and in various international collaborations. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of compliance with EU foreign trade regulations, and to share good practices of multinational businesses in preparation of employees and suppliers for compliant behavior.

The workshop was organized by Enterprise Europe Network – Nederland and carried out by Hanze university lecturer Daniela Naydenova. The following topic were covered:

- Deemed export: definition and example cases
- EU and national rules and regulations, including sanction regimes
- Risks self-assessment
