Tinkering sustainability performance: about the what, why and how of sustainable development and the circular economy

“Tinkering”. This term probably evokes all kinds of associations. You have a goal in mind, but you don’t know exactly how to get there. It is a process of trial and error, and making choices and decisions. Often the wrong ones, but sometimes also choices and decisions that work out great. There is also something exciting about “Tinkering”, it energizes people. Pretty much the same as with the circular economy and sustainable development. You may know in what direction you want your organization to move, but you have no idea how to shape this process. This book provides some reflection and action tools. But before you can start working on that, you first need to know what you are talking about and why you should start focusing on sustainable development and the circular economy.
