Abstract
Jonge kinderen zijn zeer efficiente taalverwervers. Meestal verloopt de taalontwikkeling van kinderen als vanzelfsprekend, maar sommige kinderen hebben problemen in de spraak- en taalontwikkeling. Door vroegtijdige opsporing, diagnostiek en behandeling van kinderen met problemen in de communicatie kan worden voorkomen dat deze problemen ingrijpen in andere ontwikkelingsprocessen.
