Abstract
Widespread acceptance of artificially generated speech will occur only when speech synthesis offers gih quality, automatic text to speech conversion with unlimited vocabulary, operates real-time and at a very low cost. This paper describes three basic methods used for artificial speech synthesis and the resulting software and hardware achritecture and the implementation of the method supporting an unlimited Dutch vocabulary
