Abstract
The aims of the International conference and meeting of researchers into Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness (FaPMI) were:
1. Develop international research collaborations/partnerships in the area of FaPMI.
2. Develop teams of research collaborators focused around core FaPMI research topics including methodological issues.
3. In teams, detail research plans including key themes, research questions, goals, methodology and future actions/tasks.
4. Provide rigorous feedback to emerging researchers (e.g. post graduate students) in the FaPMI field.
