Abstract
Tienduizenden kinderen in Nederland hebben op dit moment een vader of moeder in detentie. Internationaal onderzoek laat zien dat deze kinderen een vergrote kans hebben op het vertonen van antisociaal gedrag en delinquent gedrag op latere leeftijd. Ook hebben kinderen met een ouder in detentie een verhoogd risico op het ervaren van traumatische klachten, stigma, psychische klachten en gezondheidsproblematiek dan kinderen zonder ouder in detentie.
