Abstract
Kunststudenten en mensen op hoge leeftijd, ze blijken steeds weer een mooie combinatie. Of we de studenten nu vragen om ‘iets te doen’ met een onbenutte open ruimte in Verpleegtehuis de Zonnehuis, of te werken met foto’s van vroeger in Oosterparkheem, of mensen met dementie te portretteren in een gesloten afdeling van een zorginstelling. Iedere keer opnieuw word ik getroffen door de open wijze waarop ze de relatie met de oudere mens vormgeven. Maar dat is niet het enige. De kunststudenten slagen er niet alleen in om van het artistieke proces een proces van ontmoeten en wederkerigheid te maken, zij slagen er ook in om op basis van deze uitwisseling nieuwe perspectieven naar boven te halen. Hoe komt dat?
