Abstract
Half november was er in Academie Minerva een door mij gecureerde tentoonstelling We, people in transition, waar een selectie van de projecten die het lectoraat Image in Context uitvoerde getoond werden. In het project Ik zie ik zie portretteren kunststudenten mensen met dementie in een gesloten inrichting. In Anders Belicht fotograferen studenten van Academie Minerva samen met personeelsleden de fysieke omgeving van bewoners van ’t Blauwbörgje (Dignis). In Parallel Portraits worden oudere mensen tegelijkertijd in beeld gebracht hier in Groningen en in het Oost-Afrikaanse Oeganda. In deze blog wil ik nader ingaan op de betekenis van de titel van de tentoonstelling We, people in transition.
