Abstract
Zijn leven lang probeerde kunstenaar JanMurk de Vries (1919-2015) een overweldigende ervaring uit zijn kindertijd tot uiting te brengen in zijn werk en leven. Vijf jaar na zijn dood spreekt dat nog altijd aan: paviljoen Obe in Leeuwarden exposeerde zijn werk; een brievenboek is in voorbereiding.
