Abstract
Het project 'Kunst met een opdracht, kunst en gemeenschap’ is gericht op de versterking van de relatie tussen het museum, de lokale gemeenschap en kunst in de publieke ruimte. Het doel is om gezamenlijk de waardering voor kunst in de openbare ruimte door het publiek te onderzoeken. Als studie-case voor dit project wordt het werk van de van oorsprong Amsterdamse kunstenaar Jaap van der Meij (1923-1999) gebruikt.
