Abstract

Voor de ETS-deelnemers en hun klanten resteert na 2030 een ongewisse toekomst, stelt Martien Visser. “De CO2-prijzen kunnen na 2030 zomaar tot een duizelingwekkend niveau stijgen, met grote economische en sociale gevolgen. Het is niet zo bekend, maar de bron voor de black-outs in Californië in 2000 was een op hol geslagen systeem voor emissierechten. Geen fraai vooruitzicht.” Alle reden in Nederland en de EU goed te gaan overdenken hoe we de periode 2030-2040 concreet door moeten komen.
