Abstract
De brede school is niet meer weg te denken uit het Nederlandse onderwijslandschap. Daarmee verandert de plaats van de school in de samenleving. Dit hoofdstuk gaat over de veranderingen in de verhoudingen tussen school met ouders, met de buurt en met andere professionele voorzieningen . De auteur laat zien dat het van belang is dat de samenwerking gedragen wordt door een pedagogische visie op het wat en waartoe van opvoeding en onderwijs.
