Abstract
De rechterlijke machtigingsprocedure-procedure heeft geen goede uitwerking op mensen met dementie. Door hun ziekte begrijpen ze de procedure niet, ervaren ze deze als zeer stressvol en leidt de procedure niet tot acceptatie van het besluit tot opname. De hoorzitting is zeer stressvol en belastend voor deze mensen. Kan dat niet anders?
