Project Details

Description

Applied research is aimed at developing new knowledge that can contribute to professional practice. Within Hanze university there was a need for a method to determine the extent to which her applied research is ready to be applied in that practice.
Inspired by the so-called Technology Readiness Levels a model was developed.

Key findings

The concept of practice-readiness was defined.
Based on that concept the PRO-model was developed, a tool for applied researchers to analyse the practice-readiness of their research. Model and explanation are available for download, see the linked article "Hoe meet je praktische relevantie?"
