Description

This research project on the impact of the pandemic on our education is conducted by the research center Talent Development in Higher Education and Society in collaboration with Computing & Information Services (Informatisering), Education & Research (O&O) and HR. The principal investigator is lector Marca Wolfensberger. De corona pandemic has had a big impact on our education. Suddenly all teaching had to go online. This has asked a lot of the flexibility and inventiveness of our teachers, who were often only limited trained (if at all) in teaching online. This resulted in high work pressure and stress levels. As the end of the pandemic is approaching, we want to look ahead: how are teachers doing and what do they need? What do we want to take with us of teaching online in the past year and what has to remain face-to-face education? With this research project we want to gain insight in teacher well-being and their needs in the upcoming transition. To study this we will use questionnaires and we will organize focus groups with teachers.
