Description
In this project, I will explore with conservatoire students how they can learn to give music lessons in which they grant more cognitive autonomy to their students. The theoretical basis can be found in the Curious Minds approach in which talent is not seen as an attribute of a person but as a dynamic, emergent phenomenon that you can elicit as a teacher by giving space, providing structure, flexible support and by designing talent-oriented tasks. Students and teachers learn in this project by analysing video footage of student-led music lessons together.
