Personal profile

My work focuses on politics, policy, and governance in energy and resource transitions. Specific areas of interest are: heat transition processes, state-society relations, artistic research approaches to societal challenges, energy communities, soil governance, the political history of science and technology, political economy of food, and critical geopolitics.

My work at the Hanze interacts with my activities within the eco-artistic design and philosophy collective Studio Inscape and the Gloknos Center on Global Knowledge Studies where I co-convene an international research group working at the intersection of Technopolitics, Speculative Geopolitics, and Earthly Limits
