Research Interests

Lynette is researcher in the field of the energytransition focusing on the societal and behavioural perspective. Within her PhD research she is examining the development of local energy initiatives (LEIs) in the province Groningen and Drenthe. More specific, she studies the success and barriers within the development of LEIs, the social network of LEIs, the collaboration with municipalities and the involvement of local citizens. Another topic of her expertise is participation in the energytransition more general.
