Personal profile

Personal profile

With a background in sociology and social psychology, my research focuses on the interplay between people and the environments they live and work in. Although my projects cover diverse topics, they share a common concern with understanding how social dynamics and spatial contexts influence one another. Currently, I am working on developing policy tools for municipalities on creative hubs, examining the consequences of earthquake fortification measures in Groningen, and I am involved in a project on regional development and migration. Together, these projects reflect my broader interest in how places and people continuously shape each other, and how these interactions affect communities and their futures.
