Personal profile

Professional Information

As a senior Lecturer-Researcher at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, I am actively involved in teaching at the bachelor's and master's levels, while contributing to the Sensors and Smart Systems research group. I have international experience, having completed internships in countries such as the USA, Portugal, Argentina, and the Netherlands, as well as collaborating with institutions in Portugal, Germany, France, and Brazil. My doctoral research focused on modeling and control of mobile robots. Prior to my academic role, I spent four years as an industrial automation engineer, developing practical expertise in industrial machine design and maintenance. Outside the laboratory, my passion lies in educational robotics, having dedicated over a decade to the field, including active participation in prestigious events such as RoboCup Junior. I am honored to have received several recognitions for my contributions, notably the Best Paper awards at OL2A 2023 and WRE 2018.
