Personal profile

Teaching

I teach IT law at bachelor and master level. More specifically, I teach in the Master of Applied Law within the law school of the Business & Law Cluster at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. In this role, I teach the course Law & Digital Transformation and supervise graduating students.

As a senior-lecturer Digital transformation, I am tasked to integrate the digital transformation aspects in the law curriculum. I connect with the professional field to gather student assignments, and to see what the practical field requires from our students in terms of skills and knowledge, and translate this into the curriculum.

Research Interests

I am a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Groningen. My doctoral research focuses on the explainability requirements in the EU AI Act for AI systems used in the agricultural sector.
