NoorderRuimte, Research Centre for Built Environment, performs practice-oriented research into the built environment of North Netherlands. We focus on the themes earthquakes, demographic transition, sustainability, and health and wellbeing. Our approach is integral. Our professors, lecturer-researchers, and students connect the fields of architecture, construction management, civil engineering, facility management and real estate. We always work together with practice.
