This professorship focuses on the use of existing technologies and the development of new technologies around data science, with a focus the life sciences. The focus here is on the research lines Knowledge mining and Knowledge mapping. With the development of new techniques to quickly and efficiently collect, process, model and analyse scientific data, the Data Sciences for Life Sciences & Health research area contributes to the development of cost-effective and high-quality food and pharmaceutical agents based on biobased ingredients.
