    DescriptionDr Beata Kviatek, Senior Lecturer & Researcher at IBS, participated in CSRCOM 2017, an international conference on corporate social responsibility. Dr Kviatek gave a presentation on the effectiveness of stakeholders' engagement in the CSR process and CSR strategies. She also discussed the CSR practice in the Dutch oil and gas exploration sector. Her presentation is a contribution to the panel 'CSR in a Sustainable Society: the Debate on Energy Transition', submitted together with Professor Wim Elving. CSRCOM 2017, Vienna, was the 4th biannual international conference and was hosted by the Austrian Academy of Sciences, University of Vienna and Alphen-Adria University Klagenfurt. Among the keynote speakers were leading experts in corporate affairs, such as Sankar Sen, the Lawrence and Carol Zicklin Chair of Corporate Integrity and Governance and Professor of Marketing at Baruch College/City University of New York. Within the IBS programmes, CSR is a key part of the 4th year bachelor's courses Corporate Strategy & Compliance, Governance and Risk Management, as well as in the master's project European Businesses & Economies and the master's thesis.
