Description
On March 30th four researchers of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS), dr. Hugo Velthuijsen, dr. Louis Polstra, dr. Martijn de Groot and dr. Hilbrand Oldenhuis visited the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). The visit was hosted by Prof. Dr. Daniel Süss (Head of Studies & Research School of Applied Pyschology), Prof. Dr. Agnes von Wyl (Head of Research Unit Psychotherapy & Mental Health) and Prof. Hansjörg Künzli (Head of Research Unit Coaching & Training in Organizations). It was a fruitful afternoon during which an open and friendly conversation took place about eachother's education and research programs. The ZHAW has valuable expertise when it comes to the scientific study of (e-)coaching/counseling and privacy issues in big data storage and research. The Hanze has valuable expertise in the area of healthy ageing, entrepreneurship, Quantified Self and sustainable employability. Therefore, concrete plans were made to cooperate in the domain of the Hanze UAS program Fit4Sustainable Employability (Fit4SE) in which self-tracking technology is being used to increase employees' sustainable employability. In this program e-coaching and big data are two of the main themes that the Hanze UAS will work on the coming years and collaboration with Zurich HAW would be mutually beneficial.Period | 30 Mar 2016 |
