In deze bijdrage wordt antwoord gegeven op de vraag aan welke uitgangspunten en ijkpunten een sterke pedagogische omgeving voor jonge kinderen (0-6-jarigen) moet voldoen. Er worden 5 kwaliteitsniveaus onderscheiden (dialogische kwaliteit, proceskwaliteit, structurele kwaliteit, inhoudelijke kwaliteit en dialogische professionaliteit).
