A short presentation sharing some preliminary results of the first phase of the 'Musicking in the In-Between' research project, in which 9 interviews were conducted with musicians with experience in running music activities in asylum seekers centres (AZCs) in the Netherlands. The presentation focused on practical findings that music students and professionals who want to run similar projects can learn from those already working in this field. This presentation was part of the annual Research Festival at the Prins Claus Conservatorium.
