Description
The jury awards the 2017 Schreuder Prize to Ms. Garzás for her original and interesting paper on the transcription of piano repertoire for instrumental ensembles in an effort to discover how to use the imitation of orchestra instruments for the interpretation of piano works. The research is systematic and methodologically sound. It is simple, but elegant. The inclusion of music examples and recordings which can be accessed online makes the study practical for use by other musicians.Period | 17 Nov 2018 |
