Description

Friday 2 October 2015 an international conference on Next Generation Business Models is due at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. The conference will be hosted by the International Business School in corporation with the Our Common Future 2.0 foundation and Samenwerkingsverband Noord Nederland (SNN).

Contents of the conference
The conference will be focusing mainly on three streams. First of all, providing insight into what next generation business models can look like. Furthermore, showing examples of how collaborations between universities and businesses result in new business models. But also examples of inter-business collaboration within Europe and support businesses can expect from the government in this respect.

Relevance of the conference
Increasingly our economy has to cope with a wide variety pressing issues. Resources are becoming scarcer and existing business models are under constant pressure. The impact of the internet and social media is soaring as is the pressure of customers and other stakeholders on businesses to contribute to sustainable communities. To tackle these issues, ever more entrepreneurs innovatively cooperate with citizens, researchers and government officials.
Furthermore, increasingly businesses are looking for business models aiming at creating multiple values. That is, creating social, ecological and economic value simultaneously.

Target groups
If you are an entrepreneur, consultant, civil servant, student, teacher this conference is a must go. But also if you are just interested in the topic the conference has very much to offer.
You will get practical answers and ideas for new business models. But also plenty of opportunities to extend your professional network, and practical support by the government in case you want to give your European business opportunities a boost.
