On October 20, 2023, almost 40 participants came together to make plans for the development of the Oostpolder (the expansion of the Eemshaven). That was the Hackathon Oostpolder. There were 6 teams with different participants, ranging from local residents to representatives of companies, architectural firms and energy companies.
