Description

Aansluitend bij bestaand onderzoek waaruit blijkt dat binding met school en een goede relatie tussen leerling en leerkracht risico-reducerende factoren zijn bij voortijdige schooluitval, is gekozen voor een interventie gericht op het positief beïnvloeden van de emotionele betrokkenheid van MBO-studenten op niveau 1 en 2 via wekelijkse sportlessen. Deze lessen zijn ingericht volgens de principes van ondersteunend bewegingsonderwijs, dat wil zeggen dat de sportdocent in zijn lesgeefgedrag aansluit bij drie basisbehoeften van de studenten: de behoefte aan autonomie, competentie en verbondenheid. Naast het lesgeefgedrag is veel aandacht besteed aan de randvoorwaarden waaraan het sportprogramma moet voldoen.
