Frailty a complex phenomenon

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

We are living in an ageing society. People are getting older and older, and with age, there is a decline in intrinsic capacity. This will lead to an increasing risk of health-related problems. This phenomenon is called frailty. However, frailty is not solely dependent on physical decline but also involves cognition, social, and environmental factors. The multidimensionality of frailty will be explained in this keynote lecture.
