Supporting the physical therapists that care for a globally aging population: promoting active aging. IPTOP is de internationale vereniging voor fysiotherapie in de geriatrie. Het heeft 15 landen die lid zijn van deze vereniging en vertegenwoordigt meer dan 8000 fysiotherapeuten wereldwijd. Bewegen, en de kracht van bewegen als preventieve interventie is vooral bij veroudering enorm belangrijk om op de politieke agenda te zetten
