5G Student Battle (Event)

Description

During the 5G Student Battle in November 2022, five student teams, consisting of vocational school students, university of applied sciences students and university students, worked together in a 24-hour hackathon on innovative products or services for the future using 5G. The final was held on November 27 at Zernike Campus. The hackathon took place at the Digital Society Hub.

The expert jury of the 5G Student Battle consisted of Wim van der Pol (Executive Board ROC Noorderpoort), Rix Groenboom (Lector New Business & ICT, Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen), Jurgen Grobbee (Regional Director Alfa-college), Prof. ir. Bayu Jayawardhana (professor of Mechatronics and Control of Nonlinear Systems, University of Groningen) and Elmar de Jong (Coordinator Startup Visa, Founded in Groningen).
