Description

During the XII ENSSEE congress from 22 to 26th of October 2013, the cooperation between sport universities, sport related organizations and other interested companies was stimulated. The aim was to initiate innovative projects in the field of sport science, sport education, sport and health, coaching and sport management. During a joint parallel session between the Physical Education and the Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyle Committees Dr. Johan de jong & Jim Lo-A-Njoe, Msc. presented the Groningen Lifestyle intervention program, “Bslim” that is subject to research from the research group of applied Sport Sciences of Hanze University, Groningen. The Bslim program is a community based program for enhancing sports participation and physical activity in children from 6 tot 12 years of age.
